The International Conference on Lesson Study (ICLS) is a global academic forum organized by the Indonesia Lesson Study Association (ALSI) in collaboration with host universities. The conference brings together researchers, educators, and practitioners to share experiences, research findings, and innovations in lesson study as a strategy to improve teaching and learning. Through collaborative dialogue and international perspectives, ICLS aims to strengthen professional networks and promote sustainable educational practices in the digital era.

Meet Our Keynote Speakers
Manabu Sato is Professor Emeritus at the University of Tokyo. His research interests include action research in school reform, curriculum research, and use of new technology in teacher education
Christine Lee Kim Eng is Emeritus Associate Professor at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University. Her research focuses on Lesson Study, teacher learning, collaborative pedagogy, curriculum reform, and school-based curriculum development.
Pete Dudley lectures in leadership and learning at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. His work centers on Lesson Study, oracy, collaborative enquiry, and school-led improvement, and he introduced Research Lesson Study to the UK.
Rebecca leads PhET’s international strategy and programs. Her work focuses on science education, teacher professional development, and global outreach, informed by her background as a high school physics teacher and science education researcher.
Nurma Yunita Indriyanti is Professor at Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) specializing in chemistry education and scientific literacy. Her work focuses on innovative chemistry learning media, science literacy, and instructional models to improve science education quality.
